With the support of AIA Memphis volunteers, The University of Memphis Department of Architecture has launched a campaign to expand its library collection from 2,000 volumes to a goal of 5,000 volumes in preparation for its upcoming NAAB accreditation visit. Expansion of the architectural collection has been identified as a critical need in the mission to establish the professional Master of Architecture program at the University of Memphis. Women in Architecture has sponsored previous events to raise funds for the purchase of architectural books and magazine subscriptions, and donors will be personally recognized with book plates and a published list of donors.
RECENT FUNDRAISING EVENTS
The Books+Chocolate event on September 23 featured a silent auction to raise funds for the architecture library collection. Please see the event information below.
