Hnedak Bobo Group, one of the Top 15 hospitality design firms in the country, is seeking an AutoCAD/REVIT Manager to lead the development and compliance of in-house CAD standards. This position will assist project teams with managing project files; develop and implement training manuals; oversee data exchange via the FTP site; manage software upgrades; and overall, promote the use and growth of CAD within the firm. HBG, a 125-person firm based in Memphis with additional offices in Nashville and Knoxville, is focused on life-style oriented projects including hospitality, entertainment resorts, and urban mixed-use projects.
 
This position will be ideally filled with a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:
·         5+ years experience in the production of construction documents for large, complex commercial projects and a        
         comprehensive understanding of project workflows
·         Bachelor of Architecture or related degree, or equivalent work experience
·         Thorough knowledge of architectural drafting practices, AutoCAD 2004 – 2008, REVIT, SketchUp, and 3D Studio Max
         and has a keen awareness of the efficient and effective use of this software
·         Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and coach others

The successful candidate will be a creative, self starter with a strong background in designing proposals, project management, construction procedures, zoning and building codes. Other responsibilities include writing program statements, construction administration, designing space arrangements and coordinating project requirements with off-campus consulting engineering firms.
 
The successful applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and 5-years of directly work experience as a licensed architect. Ten years of equivalent work-related education and experience will be considered.

Position is responsible for enforcing design & construction standards and monitoring construction activities for franchise hotel projects from the pre-design phase through hotel openings.  This includes all new-build and conversion projects representing the Hilton Family of Brands; Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, and Hampton Inn.  This position is based at the Memphis Operations Center of Hilton Hotels Corporation and will require travel within the United States, primarily east of the Rocky Mountains.
 
Qualifications
·         Bachelors Degree from an accredited University in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a similar Construction-                                          
          related field.
·         Ten (10) years minimum experience is required working in a supervisory capacity, including experience in a        
          corporate environment with direct accountability for controlling development, design, construction, and overall
          costs of hotel projects.
·         A strong background in construction methods and materials.
·         The ability to read and understand construction documents.
