artist statement
All of my life I have seen shapes and images everywhere I looked, and have been compelled to use nature and found objects bring these to life. I place these things in trees and concrete, create animals from tree branches and paint, and most recently use colored glass as paint and discarded windows and mirrors as canvas.  I enjoy the process of creating, I make things that interest me, and I am glad that sometimes my pieces bring pleasure to others, too.
