Cherie Morgan and Annette Barrett
Bloomboard (headboard)

preview location: 2282 Madison Avenue | Howard Hall

artist statement
Bloomboard is about the growing relationship between two friends.  Diversity in thought and background builds depth and understanding.  Cherie (architect) and Annette (interior designer) met two years ago on a joint venture project between their firms.  They immediately learned of their like spirits while working through the relationship between their designs… how the interior and exterior of a building speak to one another.  That background became the framework for a lifetime friendship.  Bloomboard represents the development of their relationship in visual form.

Cherie and Annette would like to thank the following people for their contributions to Bloomboard: Mark Barrett, John Morgan, Tricia Kennedy of DesignTex and Jean Marie Hinton of Maharam.
