AIA Memphis' ICON* Design Auction | April 18
AIA Memphis' 2026 Design Auction (Saturday, April 18) will feature a silent auction in addition to great company, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and drinks. This year our auction Icon Items will be paired with custom, original paintings by local artists. These paintings, inspired by the Icon items, will be displayed next to the items, and included in the auction.
Timber Talks: Mass Timber from Earth to Earth | April 6-7
The convening will bring together expertise in forest management, timber fabrication and construction, chemistry, architecture, and more to discuss the future of mass timber from forestry to end-of-life. This 1.5-day symposium will offer many opportunities to network with students, academics, and industry professionals with expertise and interest in this innovative approach to building that is currently underutilized in our region. Featured speakers include representatives from Classic American Hardwoods, the National Hardwood Lumber Association, State and Regional Forestry, TImberLab, and others. There are also tour opportunities.
