The AIA Memphis Golf Tournament is a favorite in the design community! Always a sell-out, we ensure the players and sponsors have the highest level experience ranging from a fantastic course and great prizes, to unique on-course entertainment along the way hosted by our amazing partners in the industry. Proceeds of the AIA Memphis Golf Tournament directly support scholarships, programs and resources for architects and emerging architects to expand their knowledge and experience in the areas of architecture, community engagement and leadership.


Tournament Format

The AIA Memphis Golf Tournament is a 4-person scramble, with teams of four players competing against one another.

Eligibility and Pairing

The AIA Memphis Golf Tournament is open to the public! AIA members and corporate partners, nonmembers, guests, design professionals, engineers, contractors, product representatives, and community leaders are welcome to participate. The tournament is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, and is limited to 144 participants.


Prizes

Golf prizes are awarded for:

  • Low Gross 1st & 2nd place teams in three flights
  • Closest to the Pin
  • Longest Drive
  • Putting Contest.
  • Door prizes and participant gifts will also be awarded.


Dress Code and Shoe Policy

Shirts and shoes must be worn on the golf course at all times. Men's shirts should have sleeves. Bathing attire, cut off shorts, halter-tops, tube-tops, tank-tops, and similar types of recreational wear are not considered proper dress on the golf course. Shoe Policy: Soft Spikes Only facility. Shoes worn on the golf course must be appropriate for golf, as determined by the General Manager, the shop staff, or the TurfGrass Manager.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Easily our most popular sponsorship engagement, the annual AIA Memphis Golf Tournament is an opportunity for partners to have relaxed, one-on-one time to visit with each participant. Not a golfer? Not a problem! Bring your company tent and setup a fun activity or signature cocktail!

  • Audience : Design leaders, firm owners, project managers, industry leaders, emerging professionals
  • Anticipated Attendance : 200+ (144 players, +/-25 volunteers and +/-60 sponsor reps)
  • Points of Exposure : electronic communications, Third Thursday program recognition, on-site verbal/digital/print/cart display, website, social media (all points of exposure vary with levels)
  • Distribution : 1800+ emails, 2000+ social media touch points, on-site recognition
