AIA Memphis invites architects, civic leaders, developers, and others to Beale Street Landing, our city's riverside threshold. Lining the banks of the Mississippi, we'll enjoy a spectacular signature sunset over the economic artery that powers so much of our vitality. Join us for lively and spirited conversation about Pockets of Progress (POPs) throughout town followed by a Roarin' 20's Reception to celebrate our nation's emergence from a year of unprecedented challenge. Corporate Partner exhibits offer additional entertainment and prizes. We'll celebrate the launch of folio, AIA Memphis' printed annual.

French literary and philosophical movements of the 17th and 18th centuries hosted salons, gathering guests to inspire hosts through conversation, often following Horace's definition of the aims of poetry, "either to please or to educate."
